Smith Vaitiare introduction thread (Liz Smith → Eyal, George, Katya)
“we think this could be an incredible opportunity to manifest all the wonderful art you have been working on.” — Liz Smith, introducing Eyal to George and Katya

The first written framing of the Boundless × Eyal relationship. Smith Vaitiare acted as the third-party introducer under the October 2024 referral agreement.

George Goldsmith → Ibiza circle (including Liz Smith and Vaitiare Gout)
“As you saw from Eyal's note earlier in the summer, we have resumed contact.” — George Goldsmith, in his own writing

After the 2024 gap, George reaches back out to Eyal in summer 2025 and tells his old Ibiza circle he has done so. The direction of the reconnect is on the record.

September 2025 Email
Allan Malievsky → Eyal, first email after their first Zoom
“Great meeting you the other day and super excited to work on some cool stuff together.” — Allan Malievsky

Allan's opening after their first Zoom. He sends the intro deck and a 38-minute piece the same day.

“the main thing to discuss is how to integrate visual work into deep listening experiences while maintaining inner-focused attention. The empathic technology platform is especially interesting!” — George Goldsmith

The mandate on the record. George names both what he wants integrated (Eyal's visual work) and the platform he is most interested in (empathic technology) — in his own writing, before a single deal was on the table.

October 2025 Email
George Goldsmith → Eyal, week after Ibiza 1
“Thank you for sharing this! We really appreciated our time together in Ibiza.” — George Goldsmith, one week after Ibiza 1

Ibiza 1 was on Eyal's dime. George's follow-up is warm but the expense reimbursement never happens.

“Looking forward to a great creative collaboration in 2026!” — George Goldsmith, Christmas Eve

“this is really great and aligned... I agree with 100%.” — George Goldsmith, on Zoom

Eyal walks George and Allan through the pop-up path for Sanctuary. George's response, on tape, is 'this is really great and aligned.' Then, on the same call, George repeats the concept back as his own thinking (Dolby Atmos + L-Acoustics in a Soho pop-up).

Allan states outright that Eyal's Empathic Art manifesto was used by Boundless to position the company to Radio France. Bob was present on this call.

The 14-page investor deck George sent Eyal on WhatsApp on March 13, 2026. Uses 'empathic technology' and 'living piece of visual art that represents where you are, and changes as you do' — language from Eyal's manifesto. Eyal is not on the team page. Not on either 'collective' artist page. Not credited anywhere.

“what we're looking at really here is how do we create a more compelling art engine... all we show here is there's something happening. But what we really need is this middle ground.” — George Goldsmith, on the May 18 polars/chaos-engine call

George shows Eyal the chaos-engine outputs Boundless has been trying to build and names the gap they can't cross. This is the moment Eyal walks them through polars, X/Y/Z timelines, and color-emotion research.

Thirty minutes into the May 18 call, after Eyal walks them through the technical path they had not been able to solve on their own. 'Al' is the auto-transcript's mishearing of 'Eyal'.

Allan on tape acknowledging that Boundless's own attempts (via Replicate) don't reach Eyal's stamp — and that this gap is 'part of why we're intrigued by that idea' of bringing Eyal in fully.

“Oh, a huge difference. Yeah.” — George Goldsmith, on Zoom, in response to Eyal's question 'is there a difference between me and Suvi?'

On the July 16 1:1, George sets the compensation frame himself: equity plus royalty, with lawyers, benchmarked to Suvi's ten-hour-a-week consulting rate, in an artistic-director role parallel to Dominic in music. Eyal asks whether there's a difference between him and Suvi. George's answer, verbatim: 'Oh, a huge difference. Yeah.'

The pivot from licensing to buyout, in George's writing, on the same day he received the proposal. Not 'the numbers are too high.' Not 'we can't afford it.' The structure needs to become an investable entity.

“That's amazing... we've been working a bit with Phil and Simon... they think it's really interesting and important.” — George Goldsmith, in front of Bob, Jacob, Allan, and the rest

On the August 6 morning dev call, Eyal walks the team through the Muse wizard, six 45-second sensor chunks with layman-language logs, and the simulation mode with six emotional-journey presets. George's response, on tape, in front of the team: 'That's amazing.' Then he moves the work to marketing.

“Thank you for sending the memo. I appreciate the transparency. I've read it carefully. On the substance, you and I want the same thing here: Boundless going into the raise with owned IP and a clean cap table. Here's how I want to get us there together.” — Eyal Gever's August 7 counter-proposal

The full August 7 counter. Every structural concern the memo raised is met on the page: license converted to buyout at signature, equity moved from 3% to 1%, minimum guarantee killed, improvement grant-back killed, exclusivity in wellness granted, retainer trimmed from €12K to €10K/mo. App engine buyout: €500,000 at signature.

I think that's an interesting thing to see how various styles kind of interpret the same data.” — Allan Malievsky and George Goldsmith, on the August 13 dev call

Eyal is in Mallorca on a family boat trip and has told George in advance. Allan opens the call, George names Eyal's color palette and research summaries on tape, Allan names 'various styles' — all Eyal's work — in front of the team. 'ALS' is the auto-transcript's mishearing of 'Eyal.'

There was no reason to write the note you did and take all that time when we have WhatsApp and phones. It has been full on and I'm sorry for that. Depsite that I've been looking deeply into the launch schedule and realise it can't all be done sanely by that time. I'm off to another appointment now and will be in touch by Friday. But take a pause for now. I love the work and need to stilll agree timing and structure with a better product market for assessment. I hired Laura today.” — George Goldsmith, on WhatsApp

“Hi Eyal, let's focus on the commercial and timing. For now, I would hit the pause button as Laura comes up to speed. I can't justify the cost until we have a better understanding of product market fit. Laura and the team are working on that. Bob and Jacob are doing all their work for equity so don't create this same level of risk for Boundless and me. I'd like to pick this up until I'm through my personal mediation process next Wednesday. I'm sure we will find a way through all this.” — George Goldsmith, on WhatsApp — George's last message on the record

Excuse categories, in one paragraph: new hire ramping up, product-market fit not yet understood, other people work for equity so I should too, personal mediation. Four excuses stacked. Wednesday is August 26. Nothing arrives on August 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, or September 1.

Dev call agenda, August 27, 2026 (Notion), where Eyal was not a participant
“Goal: Walk the new TestFlight build, close the art-generation decisions with Eyal, set the pricing lock so App Store review can start. // Confirm: EEG-informed time-lapse of the chosen image; Chaos Engine output sampled at intervals into one moving image // Confirm: gallery hidden, random selection without repeats; manual choice later via profile // Color palette from check-in/check-out; image transformation from EEG; Z-axis on openness // No-EEG fallback: simulation via the existing web-app simulator // App Store submission mid-September · readiness 25 September · launch 10 October” — Boundless dev-call agenda (Notion), August 27, 2026

Twelve days after the pause. Eyal is not in the participants field. Every art-generation item on the agenda is Eyal's work. The three specifically italicized (color palette, image transformation, Z-axis on openness) are the exact three items Eyal introduced verbally on the May 18 polars call. The launch schedule (October 10) is intact — no PMF pause, no product-readiness delay.
